Huh? I was just talking to people that just came out of their caves for the first time in 1000 years that black people are faster. That was it.
Jacob Hester is a hell of a tailback. He is fast, sure, and reliable, and it doesn't have anthing to do with white or black and it never has. Keiland Williams, Charlie Scott, and Richard Murphy are all great backs and really good guys on top of that who will get their due starting next year. Race doesn't have anthing to do with it and it never should have been brought up in the first place.
And I was just saying that you're wrong, in the sense that it has nothing to do with race and everything to do with training. It's like saying there are very few black airline pilots so black people aren't the best pilots. Ridiculous statement. And don't start on my cave. You haven't seen my cave. You don't know my cave. I love my cave - it's , it's, cold....and damp.....and it has bats and sh!t.
Here's what's different - we're kicking so much arse this year (except Kentucky - moment (3 actually) of silence) that we're sniping about the race of tailbacks. :wave:
Okay, you go to a school and train 100 white dudes and I wont even train the black ones. I would bet my family on it I would kill you. And no, it is nothing like your airline pilot comparison.
It's EXACTLY like that. And if you give me those kids at 8 and let me change their perceptions of what position they SHOULD be playing, I bet (not my family - good gawd - how 'bout a case of beer) you'd be surprised. Same goes for a school classroom full of 8 year old black kids and the airline pilot example. It's more about expectations and hard work than some BS natural talent crap. Honestly - I had assumed we were beyond this BS. I guess not. So that's NOT DIFFERENT to me... :wave:
What BS, that black people are faster? Genes. Of course we aren't passed it, they are miles ahead of the white people at running sprints. Ricky Henderson, Deion, Carl Lewis, Chevy #3...you following the trend? Why you disagree is beyond me. (Genes are stronger than the equality fairy).
You're right. So therefore (by your wisdom), white people are better doctors, lawyers, engineers, financial consultants, architects, dentists, CEOs, quarterbacks, tight ends, offensive centers, baseball catchers, etc., etc. Thanks for clearing that up, brother. I was previously under the impression that it wasn't a genetic thing, but you've shown me the light. Speaking of lights...when I open the fridge, the light is on, therefore the fridge light is always on. Thanks for clearing that up for me, too. Man - I'm a little worked up.
