    Auburn. Game 1.
    Ole Miss. Game 2.

    Try again.

Thread title: Hatcher had one embarrassing game.

    Your words, not mine.

All the "OH NOES OUR DEFENSE IS TERRIBLE NOW" stuff that followed is overreacting though.

He uses a 3 man front sacrificing pressure and hopes the players stay at home. They don't. So next time let's just be aggressive like we are against a more conventional offense.

Our achilles heel definitely seems to be a mobile QB.

That, and a lack of gap discipline. Most of the times that they were able to get outside on us was because our players bit on fake and rushed into the LOS. Easy to get outside when the defender no longer has containment. (well not my fat ass I couldn't bounce it out there) just sayin.

My thread title said he had "one" embarrassing game.

I didn't say "wow he has been disappointing".

So you're still off base in your statement.

I hear you, and I didn't think you meant it as a quantitave thing either, more of man, that was a bad game he had. That is how I read it anyway.

Might be just me but on a regular bases, I only saw sheppard playing his assignment only to eat blocks entirely to long....

I actually thought that we fared relatively well when we blitzed yesterday. It took away the opportunity to over-run the play and get out of position.

Regardless, our pass coverage struggled against bama and ole miss. That's worrisome, considering our next opponent.

Arky's is a conventional drop back passing game. Our pressure will eat Mallet alive. If we play a clean game (no turnovers and minimal penalties) we'll coast.
