no he looked good at times against vandi. not even close to great. he had certain drives where he was very good but often times sluggish and same ole. i think its a start towards improvement however.
Joe Addai is deff. not an average back. He's going to be a 1st day draft pick. You obvisouly haven't watched Joe Addai over the last four years.
Posted by gumborue: im glad to see jv get some good runs, but it was no big deal. he is not "back". jv continues to miss the hole. that is a huge problem that will prevent him from ever being dependable--hopefully he'll get better with more carries. im getting tired of all the homer talk about how great our RBs are. "we are so lucky!" "any team in the country would be lucky..." BS. with the loss of AB we are down to average backup RBs for the SEC, and if you're comparing to top 10 programs i wouldnt be surprised if we're in a worse position.
The loss of Broussard was huge. It would have been devestating for other teams, but due to our depth it wasn't. Addai is a very good back & any team would love to have him. Carey is strong backup & the talk about Vincent was mostly based on the hope that he would be back to his 2003 form, but he's still a decent back regardless. I think you make a slight point, just overexagerrate it... ALOT.
must be a little miscommunication. JA is very good. JV and SC are average SEC backups. JA is not a backup, he is a starter.
