I know everyone has their "inside" info... Mine is from a relative of a player. He said that he was told many of the players are beginning to "mutiny agains Miles." When I heard this my stomach just dropped. Its one of the worst things that you can hear about a coach. Take my info for what its worth.. I'm just curious if anyone else has heard similar rumblings? Because I hear this from one person, then undying loyalty from others...
So why would the players lose faith in their coach. They are 7-1 and just lost a heartbreaker to the #1 BCS ranked team in the nation ON THE ROAD. If they have lost faith in Miles, I can imagine what is going on at UT, OU, UF, UGA, Nebraska, etc etc etc.... I think this is absurd, the players Love Miles he is the epitome of a players coach. But what do I know....
I don't even like miles and this sounds like it could be a stretch. I'm not saying it isn't so, just saying I'd wait to see what happens next. I still think this will be a veeeeeerrrrry interesting off season. Heads in a basket. Line em up.
Maybe he didn't leave any Cane's for the rest of the players after the game. Or maybe he took all the shaushe.
Yeh, we heard this same thing about 6-7 weeks ago, and then the players came out and basically said they think of him and the rest of the coaches as father figures. Yep, he has lost the team. Just BS propaganda to get message boards going.
Probably wishful thinking from a peripheral relative. Unless its a mom or dad I wouldn't put much stock in it.

You never have a nice word to say about Miles, yet your "stomach dropped" when you heard this rumor? That doesn't seem likely. Why would the team mutiny, anyway? If our receivers could catch balls that were in their hands, and our defense could hold AU to even 300 yards rushing, we'd still be undefeated.
