reading that SI article that hyped him. They talked to an Ohio State D-lineman that played against him, who said that Mandarich was a fair-to-good
Big 10 O-lineman his junior year. Then, during his senior year, he was an absolute monster, steamrolling everything in his path...but he also had lines of acne running up and down his arms and was losing hair in clumps...sure
signs of the Juice. Once he got to the NFL and couldn't use the 'roids anymore, he was a flop.
