What were Rust's last few words in the last scene? I watched it about five times but couldn't make it out.

 

"Well, once there was only dark. If you ask me, the light's winning."

 

I had to listen several times but mlu is right.

I can't say it enough, other than the great story line and MM's rock solid performance, the soundtrack was about as bad ass as any I've ever heard.

 

Just downloaded a torrent where someone put together most of the songs. I'm going to shuffle and repeat it for weeks...

Wife and I just did part 2 of our True Detective marathon. Great show... though we are both feeling a great let down that next season will be in Cali. It was wonderful to see a Louisiana based series that didn't have anything to do with New Orleans.
