    I think the football/franternity battles is what he is trying to overcome. He doesn't want his team losing anymore fights.

    I like that Florida is our permanent opponent from the East.

    The fact that we play Florida every year is a tremendous bonus recruiting wise. Just thank God we don't have to play South Carolina or Kentucky every year. Hell, playing Tennessee might even be worse, you're more likely to add a loss and the state isn't stocked with talent either. Phil Fulmer is so successful because of his out-of-state recruiting, from what I understand.

    Can't believe you would actually want to sacrifice Florida, a consistently good program for Vandy/Kentucky. Some argue that little sequence with Vandy Troy, and two byes was one of the least anticipated 4 wk span in LSU history.
