For the love of all things good and decent, I sure hope the Phat One pulls big head out of (bigger) ass and wins this one.

This Tenn. team may be a losing team before it's all said and done. Pathetic.

Schedule strength tells me to be for Tennessee, but me wanting ND to win, and me wanting Tennessee to have a losing season will cause me to still cheer for the Irish

The Notre Dame - Tennessee game was awesome.

Their pregame show was one of the best I have ever seen, and their postgame show WAS the best I have ever seen. Both gave me chills, and I am far from a ND fan.

UT brought their entire band. The halftime shows were incredible. The ND fans gave a huge round of applause for the Pride of the Southland Band.

The stadium was great. It felt very intimate.

The seats were horrible. The bench is literally only about 8 inches wide. Your knees are in the person's back in front of you, which of course means you have a set of knees in your back for the entire game. Also, if you leave your seat, you will not make it back for 20 minutes. There are only a few entrances to the stadium, and there is constantly a long line to get through them.

I don't know for a fact that NBC games are longer, but this particular game was over 4 hours. It just seemed like there were more commercial breaks, and that they were longer than the ESPN games I have attended.

Other than the last 2 points, it was a terrific fall Saturday afternoon. Those folks really know how to tailgate over there. There fans are the friendliest I have ever met. I have never been stopped so many times on a visitor's campus and been asked if I needed directions, offered food, and asked if I had a good time.

I highly recommend anyone that has a chance to go to South Bend to take advantage.

I had on a UT sweatshirt. (sorry, I'm from Tenn and my family all went to school there. They are my 2nd team)

I had a great time at the game. The weather was great, especially Friday. a few sprinkles at the game but nothing of significance. The leaves were in full color and very pretty. The campus is nice although I don't like the yellow brick. Lots of old trees. I especially like the fact that the campus is almost totally pedestrian and it was great to see fans walking around Saturday morning with no traffic around. The band paraded around the campus playing the ND fight song. It is a great atmosphere for FB. The fans were all nice , even to a guy wearing an Auburn hat. The only obnoxios fan I saw was a Tenn. guy.
