Charlie Ward wasn't drafted at all. Eric Crouch was cut in his first training camp before the season even started. Johnny Manziel blew multiple chance to stay on a roster, He was even cut by a Canadian team. Ernie Davis died of leukemia at the age of 23. Andre Ware was a failure in the NFL. So were Jason White, Danny Wuerfel and Tim Tebow.
Burrow winning the Heisman is not going to suddenly make him a bad player in the NFL. Let the kid get his honors - he deserves them. Then he will go for that NC trophy. He knows what he wants. The rest is lagniappe.
Panty misread....not shocking. I've already acknowledged the lack of West Coast recognition. Problem is, it's not from lack of talent.
