I agree with him. USC hasn't looked better then LSU in any game this season. They didn't earn that #1 spot so no harm done dropping them to two. It's not a big deal but still. LSU has had the tougher schedule and looked better.:geauxtige :crystal:

Not a big deal? Not a big deal? It's a HUGE deal. This guy has been shoving USC down our throats all season and ignoring what was going on on the field and for him to finally admit it is huge. I'm sure he had to choke the words out.

No not his vote, I mean the polls as a whole. It won't matter if were 1 or 2 at the moment. If we win all our games we're in the NC, no question.

    Re: Herpie strikes again

Or you could look at it in a different way.
Yes, we struggled against Tulane and maybe we were looking past until next Saturday but the fact that we struggled and still won the game 34-9 says it all.
We might not have played as good competition today as those top ten teams that struggled and won or loss but it says volumes that we could play that bad and still win a game 34-9.

Exactly, so all we can do is win out. A difficult task, yes, but the best find a way to win. I think we come out fired up for UF but the Kentucky game concerns me. Not only because of how we (barely) won the last time we played there, but if we play flat like we did today we could very well lose. So lets stop all of this blood pressure spiking "we should be # 1" talk, and restart "now how badly can we beat Florida (Kentucky, Auburn, etc.) talk please.

Hopefully the first half of the Tulane game will get Miles to make sure his players don't believe all of our "we should be number one" talk. I really am glad we had such a stinker of a first half. Had we rolled, our players may have started to believe it. Hopefully Miles takes this week to chew on some player and make sure we are "hung and hairy" for FLA.
