I'm pretty sure our shortest receiver is 3 inches taller than Auburn's tallest DB. I'm not sure buy i think we would have an advantage there. But if not our slowest receiver is faster than their fastest DB, maybe we have an advantage there too. I don't know, Kirk did play college ball, maybe he sees something we don't.
Mark MAY. The man loves to pick LSU (in most cases). So to review: Corso (no e) May (no s) Gotta look good for opposing fans guys.... Fag- I mean, Kirk- doesn't even mention LSU-Auburn in his article this week on the website. Get pissed about that, please. THAT's petty. Oh yeah, Trev Alberts went to Arkansas, that's why he hated LSU.
Which is why the team is getting pumped about being slighted. I like the lack of publicity and the focus on the Aubies. Don't think the Bayou Bengals aren't taking note.:geauxtige
Hey, I'm digging this new guy here! Let's add 'Meyer' (no 's') to that list as well. I don't care who picks us, really. It doesn't have an effect on the outcome of the game. Success speaks for itself. All I ask is that the talking heads use some sort of logic to defend their picks, which is evidently too much to ask of Lou Holtzchschs.
**** Props, I would rather LSU be the dog in every game. I think most teams play better w/ a chip on their shoulder....especially going on the road in a hostile environment. It also seems to me in the past few years that Herb can never find any reason to pick LSU as the winner for some reason. On the flip side, Mark May seems to believe in us more than any of those ESPN guys. It's almost like it's just not "cool" to pick LSU to win big games. But again, I like it when it's "us against the world" type mentality. Also, does anyone know exactly why Trev Alberts was let go........besides him just being a dumb***?
Why are we so concerned about what Herbstreit says about us? This is the second thread I have seen like this. The guy is a complete PLUG!!!
Oh sorry. A. I'm only 19, I only think I know everything. B. I remember one GameDay Final the crew was talking and Rece Davis mentioned something about Trev and Arkansas. That's where I got that from.
