Im not understanding the argument. Im a huge, huge CFB fan and I hate NASCAR. Theres excitement,pagentry, and Tradition in CFB, NASCAR has none of that. I would much rather watch LSU play Florida than to watch a bunch of white guys with no athletism make left turns all day.
Really, do we need to make this big of a stretch to illustrate that Herbie is an idiot? There are countless other examples that actually qualify. Ignorance of NASCAR is not one of them. The argument here is ludicrous, and it need not be made to call into question his knowledge of college football.
Agreed. How can you knock Herb for not likeing or following NASCAR. If anything, it should be the lone gold star on his awful record.
Wouldn't it be grand if we had collegiate NASCAR. Every school would have their driver and car. It would be awesome. Just Picture that Purple and Gold Car with a big Bengal Tiger on the hood. We could have the same race for the cup, where the Conference Champions and a few at-large selections go at it, with the Final Race in late August, just before football season starts. Of course, Herb would become an analyst and toss USC's salad.
