I bash Miles at times with the best of them. But I can never answer the million dollar question: If we let go of Miles, who do we bring in?

Obviously the answer isn't cut and dry and varies based on situation. But I will at least say, that its my opinion there are probably less than 10 maybe even 5 coaches, who WOULDNT consider the job.

    Winston318 I know football!!!!!

We can't hold onto him out of fear. Just look at coaches that are doing good things in their league or give a OC a chance. I'd prefer a coach that recruits more in Louisiana. You can't run with the big dogs if you piss like a puppy

Holding on to Miles out of fear is kind of like his game plan. Playing not to lose.

That has worked so well for Tennessee, Texas, Michigan, USC, Penn State, A&M, Colorado, Washington and others. There aren't enough Louisiana recruits on the team? Wow.

Miles gets plenty of recruits from Louisiana. You want to sign the best players no matter where they are from. Fortunately Louisiana has an abundance of talent but some of our best players have come from other states: Patrick Peterson, Sam Montgomery, Kelvin Sheppard and others. I wouldn't ignore them to sign a kid from Louisiana instead.

The media loves a 'good coach on a hot seat' story. Easy topic after a disappointing season.
