    LSU is the 4th #1 seed, so they get the least preference when it comes to where they go.

    I'm not sure that they "seed" the seeds. #1s should be equal in the eyes of the committee IMHO. At what point are the predetermined sites determined? If it's late in the season, then I think we got a raw deal. If it's done a year or more in advance, then, who knew LSU had #1 seed potential? Besides LSU fans, I mean. If Baton Rouge is a predetermined site next year, I have no complaint. Hub: Very informative post. Thanks.

    I think the sites were predetermined before the start of the season. This was the first year of predetermined sites and not like it used to be where top seeds would host a regional like baseball. LSU was not chosen because of low attendance for previous regionals held at the PMAC. Next year, I look for LSU to get another chance at hosting.
