Right on! JUST TO SAVE MILES JOB LSU must beat both FLA & AU ... LSU WILL BE A TD FAVORITE OVER EACH AT HOME. We (thousands more and I) STILL WANT his head on a ****ing stick. No more excuses! MILES MUST WIN NOW! LSU must UTTERLY CRUSH NT & APP STATE ... winning by 70 point margins MILES GAINS REDEMPTION LSU (AT 7-1) MUST MAKE THE TRIP TO (9-0) BAMA AND WIN! Period! LSU (AT 8-1) MUST MAKE THE TRIP TO OLE MISS AND WIN. LSU (AT 9-1) MUST WHIP ARK AT HOME TO EARN A SEC WEST TITLE Nothing less than a SEC West Title gets this dirtbad redemption. And, if LSU coaching (under Miles) results in the customary Post Season trouncings that Miles has "given up" in the past ... he loses any redemption gained ... and we'll bomb LSU & SKIP with 1 million "GET RID OF THAT MF" e-mails a week, until they do just that.
I have those same thoughts. I don't pretend to know how good Miles will be either when he was hired or now. I think there are at least 3 factions, maybe even more. But there is definitely the group in the middle that is patient and we tend to know we are smart enough to not "know" what the future will bring.
Some fans won't admit it, but there were just as many questions about Saban his first year. We didn't know much about him, he didn't have a great win/loss record in college, and he lost to DiNardo in a bowl game. Saban got off to a rough start by losing back-to-back home games to Auburn and UAB. The obvious difference is the talent level Miles inherited versus what Saban had to work with. But even Saban could only muster a 9-3 record with basically the same talent last year. We all have a reason to be concerned after what we saw the first two games, but most of us rational fans understand it is too early to tell what kind of success Miles will have here at LSU. My biggest concern has more to do with recruiting than wins and losses this year.
