    things i noticed
7 SEC teams still in(counting Tenn.)
    5 are 2-0
    both Louisiana schools 2-0
    3 #1 seeds are gone, 4 more have 1 lose(East Carolina is only 1-0)

Stanford and Rice probably sweep tomorrow.

did you notice the carolina teams? Saw this elsewhere...pretty amazing:

    Clemson
    North Carolina
    South Carolina
    East Carolnia
    Coastal Carolina
    The Citadel,
    College of Charleston
    UNC Wilmington
    NC State

Citadel, Coastal Carolina and Wilmington are out cuz they played other carolina teams. Pretty amazing. NC State lost out of the tough Miami regional.

    Still 5 Carolina teams left.

I predict Notre Dame and Cal State Fullerton win twice on Sunday.

Stanford and Rice are done. If this happens, then I think only Texas and Miami would be more of a favorite to win the CWS than LSU. Not a bad position for LSU to be in. I would not consider Notre Dame or South Carolina to be more of a favorite than LSU, do to lack of experience in the CWS.

The thing about the Carolina teams is crazy.

Thanks for the post Phildman....always nice to get info like this that's easy to look at.

rice has better pitching than any of the rest and that reigns supreme. I almost added CSF but they arent deep enough to make me think they can win 2 but its def. possible. Stanford is like LSU in finding a way to get to omaha but the dirtbags are a pain for anyone. I prefer to play stanford than these guys.

And yes, Miami will be the favorite I do believe as well as texas for the top 2. Dont look now but FSU may make it back and they are due to win it one day. I hope not...if they didnt win in the yrs of JD drew and sick talent, I suppose they never will.

will the dirtbags ever go away?

Don't be surprised to see the Pads take Drew and shortly trade Burroughs/Long/Nady to the Royals for Beltran and maybe Randa.
