The defense has been bending all year. Give the QB time and play loose zone and they'll nit pick you to death with short ones and every now and then (like Meachem for Tenn) they'll fit one in for long yardage. Blitzes work (although Saban had a complex blitz scheme where the offense didn't know where it was coming from). You get burned from time to time but with our DBs, we could limit that. With our talent I'd like to see our DBs cover man on man rather than handcuff them in a zone. (But then again, I'm just an armchair QB and don't have to earn my living making these decisions. )
Arkansas is a good team but I don't see them hanging with a Ohio State or Michigan. Not sold on their passing game. They are about 8 or 9 points from 3 losses, but give them credit for winning those games.
I think that the defense sometimes plays as well as they have to. By that I mean that sometimes they don't have to play as tough if the team we are playing is not so tough. All that matters to me is we won the game.
I will say that you are correct, The only real threat that we have left is your team. That being said I truly believe (after watching last nights game) that we have a HUGE chance to beat the Tigers, I will continue to cheer your team all weeks but One:wink: GO HOGS:crystal: !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :geauxtige
