Ok WHERE IN THIS STATEMENT DOES IT SAY I WISH WE WOULD HAVE NOT WON THE GAME???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I dont want to prove anything, I just want idoits with short attention spans to see Russell for what kind of player he is. AND as far as being replaced if the 2 quarterbacks we have behind him ARE NOT good enough to replace him RIGHT NOW, it is gonna be a long couple of next years.
You are just way off in your assessment of Russell. I remember Matt Mauck throwing a pick six on the road to Ole Miss when our NC hopes were on the line. No QB is immune from making mistakes, but JR is a great QB to complete a game winning drive. He's done it more than once.
Ok so that says 1 of 2 things : 1. Our defense is horrible late in the game and cant keep the other team out the endzone. OR 2. Our Offense is letting them score. So which is it. Personally I think our defense is pretty damn good. But thats just me. I agree no qb is immune from making mistakes, but how many mistakes are to many? He is a GREAT qb to complete game winning drives, but that doesnt say much for the rest of his game play.
I guess I am not hip enough but whichever one of you left it for me, could you please tell me what "PTUI" means?
There is no way dan could give red (grey maybe, but not red). It had to have been someone else. :hihi:
I would think that putting the youngster under duress would be more effective than letting him sit back there and work through his reads. Sticking 7 back in zone coverage with a mediocre rush seem to me to give the mobile qb a little too much time for holes in the zone to appear. I was actually looking forward to having Ainge play since he was immoble and would make our rush more effective. I did get a little spoiled with Saban's blitzes. He was very good at designing ways to pressure an offense. That being said, it was a good win. We tried to self destruct like at Auburn and Fla but were able to overcome. Now if other things would just fall into place ....
