    Well "the lock" of the century is not yet locked into announcing. Sure hope he commits. Gotta think if it comes down to food LSU wins out over OU ( I think food is referred to as "vittles" there !)

    from what I understand he delayed his announcement till his Birthday tomorrow Thursday 29 Jan 04, so I'm still going to stick w/ Mike Scarborough and my original statement,"H. Johnson LOCK OF THE CENTURY!

    Hate to be an internet spell checker, but since this is a "hard one", I'll do it -

    The PROPER way to spell it is "victuals".

    The "vulgar" spelling is "vittles".

    Per Rivals.com, Herman will announce at 9 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday) morning at the field house. It's his birthday and they thought it would be cool. Herman did entertain home visits today by both OU and Houston though.

    They always called food "vittles" on the Beverly Hillbillies. Whatever you want to call them LSU better have plenty of them for Big Herman.
