I saw Herman Johnson highlights on Fox Sports tonight. He doesnt look overweight at all. He just looked Massive. He didnt look 395, but he is so tall that it could have been deceiving. He could be a project, but I dont think his weight will be THAT big of a factor. The guys on the show said he was the most impressive Offensive lineman that they have seen this year.

LSU won this years National Championship title with guys who were not "5 STAR" rivals picks. Any athlete or coach who lives and dies by one person saying who is "best" in the rankings doesn't know squat. Justin Vincent was a 5 star guy. You know what he did in the NC right? Marcus Spears is 5 Star. Did you notice his interception return for a touchdown that was the difference in the score. Wilkerson and Whitworth were 5 Star. I didn't notice Mauck getting sacked alot in the NC. Are you sure those 5 Star guys weren't important to LSU winning the NC? They looked pretty important in the game that I watched.
OH MY GOD, He is HUGE & LEAN. If his technique is good and LSU's strength coach works on him. Herman can clear a TRUCK. I CAN'T WAIT FOR "THA HOUSE".
The Five stars probably made the difference, you are right. But Corey Webster definitely wasn't 5 star, nor was Chad Lavalais, and Jack Hunt was far, far from 5 star...but they were HUGE in the game and even bigger this whole season. Also I don't believe Travis Daniels was a five star high school player. Thats three out of our four DB's that weren't top 100 players out of high school. Landry was a top 100, but is a freshmen. Just goes to show you what coaching can do....
