I saw a newspaper photo last week in which Frank Broyles and Darrell Royal met before the Arkansas-Texas game. The article stated that those two coaches were great coaches for many years in the same conference. Hopefully our coach and Georgia's will coach at their schools for many years to come and keep their teams in the spotlight.
I'll bet he has a better understanding of "Death Valley" than he previously did! And it sure the hell ain't clemson:shock:
One of the ESPN guys was holding an article or press release with the quote...he read it verbatim. "There is only one Death Valley and it's in South Carolina". I don't see how it could be taken to mean anything except disrespect for LSU's Tiger Stadium.
From what I heard, that was a BS quote and I have yet to ever see a direct link to anything like that. Anyone got a link to that?
On the LSU pregame on the radio they said that got taken completely out of context and he didn't say that at all. It was something like he was asked you arleady played in Death Valley once now you have to play in another one. To which Richt responded it might be so hot it will be like playing in the real Death Valley (in California).
