Talking with a friend the other day. He has records going back over 50 years. The Mississippi River has not been this high on this date in the last over 50 year records. To add, it is 7 ft higher than the highest it has been during that time frame.
I've seen it quite a bit higher in the BR area, but I'm not sure about the month it happened. If it's that much higher and predicted to go even higher that's not good. A good bit of the equipment I deal with is right on the river
Yep, going back over 50 years, this late, the highest it's been is 7 ft lower than it is now. They too are waiting for a drop to do work on a major dock in the River
