Bush was worse. He "Pre-pardoned" his staff, sorta.

No, Even if they charged her right now this isn't going to end before he is out of office so he won't be able to pardon her. That ship has sailed. What will probably happen is "if" they bring the indictment which I really hope they do, it will be up to the muslim in chief to allow the DOJ to move forward. I am not sure he will do this, he will probably just slow play it and leave it hanging for the next administration to deal with so there is no blood on his hands. Either way this scenario spells doom for her and then we never get to hear from her again which is a blessing for all.

But what if she wins the White House? And humor me please, I know your first inkling is going to type, well she won't so there's nothing to discuss. Humor me.

Can he give her immunity like Bush did? Or was that different since there was technically no investigation started with Bush's Cronies?

I think that hinges on the timing of what the FBI does. If they piddle paddle around too long it won't matter. In my opinion they have to make a decision in the next month to 6 weeks.

I believe a sitting president can't be tried for actions before they took office... that would have to wait until her term expires, and she can't be impeached for her actions as a sec of state, while a sitting president. so it's a bit of a conundrum.

Is it possible she could be indicted and tried for crimes preceding election but not be eligible to be impeached?

Oh I don't think you have to worry about impeachment. If she wins the presidency you are going to hear that word every day.

Honestly I don't think you can be impeached, except for crimes while holding office. Anything that happened before is handled by a normal court, but a sitting president has special powers to prevent being made to testify in court.
