Russia is a threat. A big one, though they have other fish to fry before they could focus on us.

NATO is mostly useless countries. Countries that would get swept faster today than during WWII. In fact, NATO's own simulations show Russia sweeping all non US/ENG countries in a matter of days with conventional means only.

IF Russia moved on NATO, it would again be the US and England carrying the load.

Dozens of allies? - BULLSHIT of the 27 members only 5 "Allies" meet the NATO recommended expenditure of 2% pf GDP. And one of those is Greece who made the 2% by having a low GDP not high expenditures. Half of the 27 spend less than 1.25% GDP

NATO will be weaker. More action will be done unilaterally, which means less action will be done overall. Trump will go isolationist on economy and foreign policy. The effect will be diminished worldwide economy and cooperation. So bullies win.

Fact--the 27 NATO nations have dozens of non-NATO allies. The US alone has military facilities in 97 countries and military forces in 20 of them. Russia has one ally . . . Syria . . . a liability if there ever was one.
