What? Where exactly did Russia buzz those US ships and planes? Was it 12 miles off the US coast ? Why no, it was 12 miles off the Russian Baltic Sea coast and 12 miles off Russia's Black Sea coast. What the hell do you thing those forces were doing there anyway? Making a clear statement about where NATO draws the fucking lines. Clear to those paying attention anyway,
Truth is that Russia is in an extremely weakened position right now thanks to the increase in US shale oil output which has plummeted the price of a barrel of oil along with a glut of oil coming out of Iran right now post-sanctions. Putin is in a very weakened position. His aggression of late is posturing. He wants to portray to the rest of the world that he is still strong, but the Russian economy, dependent upon oil revenues is hurting and in turmoil. This is actually something that was hidden in the news that Obama and Republicans worked well together on. Russia's overtures in the middle east have amounted to little more than Putin looking for ways to put his finger in Obama's eye because of ramping up of oil exports from the US. Withdrawing from NATO would be foolish.
I take back everything I said about opposing the lifting of the sanctions on Iran. I filled my tank this morning for $1.77 a gallon. Hopefully those ragheads won't use the nukes they will soon have on us until after I'm dead or too old to care.
And your foolishness is thinking I listen to that mouth breather. My goal with him was reached long ago.
When you drive as much as I do plus pay for fueling delivery trucks that get 8-10 MPG, it makes a big difference in the bottom line at the end of the month.
No it won't. Projections (from a few days ago) are for oil to peak around $80 by 2019. That should put a gallon of gas around the $2.60 mark. Unless greed comes in. Don't let NC fool you. There isn't much drilling of anything going on by the US. Not currently.
