The person spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press because the coaching staff had not released specifics about the injury. The person said Hilliard has not been ruled out for any possible bowl game. On Twitter, Hilliard had referenced the injury, saying: "Gotta get healthy." Earlier Friday, he said it was going to be a "lay low weekend."
Man that sucks, I was hoping to see him get the lions share for his service to LSU. Hope he gets better and we see him on Sundays. Thanks Kenny!
This hurts. To have another healthy hand to rotate in this Saturday would be huge. As I have said this is going to be a big boy football game. Kills me to see KH tenure end like this, bummer
I think they are preserving him for the draft. Playing hurt can't help him go up in the draft and he risks a more serious injury. He might play if we were in contention, but we are deep enough to rest him now. Let him get healthy for the bowl game and the combine.
