Hogs get Petrino now do we have a rival?

So this should all but gaurantee Les 3 mil a year now. Saban at 3.5, Tuberville 3.3 (avg for length of contract), and now Petrino at 3 mil.

 

There's still the possibility of Petrino heading to Michigan...Knowing his track record and all.

I promise you that wasn't the case. I have never called for Tuberville's head or wanted anyone to replace him.

But I will admit there is a portion of our fanbase that wanted him and still do. I think they are dumb.

Funny how we all seam to overlook our own coach's shortcomings and faux pas. Has anyone seen a pine box ?

How much of a rival do we need? The way I see it they have given us all we wanted for the last three years. They beat us this year; it took a miracle return for a TD to beat them last year when they won the SEC west; and we barely beat them the year before that.

I could do with a few more lousy teams on the schedule to be honest. We have rivals all over the place. What we need is a few more cupcakes. The BCS rewards winning if you are in a power conference. There is no stipulation that the conference has to be any good.

Damn, this conference is getting impossible. Now Ole Miss will get turned around, Miss. State is on the way up. Where exactly are the bottom feeders in the conference anymore? Where are our Baylors and Northwesterns? Where are our Stanfords and Dukes?
