Boy, Arkansas doesn't get much respect do they? Yeah, they lost their last three games, but they were to eventual #3 LSU, National Champion Florida in the SECCG and #6 Wisconsin and all three were tight games in the 2nd half.

We were fortunate to get out of that game with a W. Thanks to Nutt calling a pass play on 4th and short and four passes at the end to finish the game. Our defense was awesome and those two RBs made us look like a PAC 10 defense. We couldn't stop them and we probably would have lost if Nutt or the OC would have called run plays instead of pass plays in certain instances. Also, Trindon Holliday pretty much won the game for us with that awesome kickoff return.

I'd be surprised if Bama can finish ahead of them. All they need are those two RBs and Monk. Bama has nothing even remotely close to being as talented as those two guys right now. I can see Bama possibly beating them at home, but overall I think Arkansas will do better. Their QBs sucked last year and they made it to the SECCG so I don't see why they won't be good this year. I know they lost a lot of players, but Nutt's specialty is getting mediocre players to play well as a team. Most teams won't be able to handle the stud RBs and they're coming back. That will be enough to pick up the Ws.

I respect Arky and agree they had one of a schedule at the end of the season. They played well in all 3 loses last year. I just think depth is going to hurt them next year. They lost a bunch of players and then some transfers that really took a hit to the depth chart. Not much experience across the board. Add the fact that they will have to overcome all the speculation with the program doesnt paint a bright picture for next year IMO.

Close call between Bama, Arky, and Ole Miss for 3rd in the West.

I agree with this one, Darren M. is gonna do for Arkansas like Manning did for Ole Miss a few years back. Hope yall didn't forget, Arkansas won the west last year, and Auburn's gonna have a rebuilding year this year, they're still really good though. But, I honest think that Arkansas, even South Carolina, will be more challedging games for us this year than Auburn will be.

That sounds like wishfull thinking. Auburn looks pretty strong. You Bama fans are going to have to admit that they have a good run going and that Tubbs is doing a good job their. It took me a long time to admit that, but Tubbs deserves the credit for making Auburn a strong contender every year.
