Russel made some really great throws. he was putting the ball in the right place. he was *perfect* on timing and his strong arm only helped that. he knew when his WR would break from the DB and the ball would be there in the right place at the right time.

if you get a chance to watch the replay on cox tomorrow....check out the pass that he conncected with Davis across the middle...i think it was a post pattern. it was an amazing throw.

to me....Russel looked better than Randal has ever looked...and i am including Randal playing against bad defenses last year (zona, la tech)

we'll see how he'll do against auburn, but my honest oppinion is that he is better than Randall

First off both Qbs looked ten times better and both seemed to handle the game speed a little better. That might be from the fact that it was Ark St. But I think that better play calling, dry field and the first game jitters behind all helped. But Russell once again has that QB instinct that people look for and can make any pass to any part of the field. I saw only one bad pass everything else was caught or catchable.

    Anyway GEAUX TIGERS!!!

I would rank those, as follows:
    1. Ark St.
    2. Dry field
    3. 2nd game
    4. Play calling

My guess is that Marcus Randal starts at least the next few games but Jamarcuss Russell is going to play too.

I think maybe thats the way i would do it.

Then go with the hot hand in the second half mainly.

Here is a worn out phrase Russell is the future.

I saw him miss three two were where only the reciever had a shot one a little low and the other a tad long but both were protected from int. the 3rd he threw to JA and must have tried not to knock him down cause he threw it in the ground :dis:

This guy throws darts. What a privalege to watch :thumb: :thumb:

Both looked good to me. Russell was throwing some nice passes right on target and Randall even had a few good throws of his own. I was very pleased with the performance today on the offensive side of the ball. Defense looked pretty good as well. I'm just hoping we can stop the run next week.
