I think so.

Bob was the brains of the defense (the heart of the team).

And Van added offensive wrinkles to spice that up a little bit.

The offense struggled at the beginning of the year because of the new plays (wouldn't have happened with Pokey), so some of the close losses would have been wins and they would have been a No. 1 seed.

Now, do I think Pokey is better than Van? Not at all.

Van can outcoach the daylights of Pokey.

Pokey could have gotten the team here, too. Van is a championship coach, though.

 

Okay, don't want to jinx anything here........who would you rather have in the finals, UConn or Stanford?

UConn causes too many problems, because we have no one athletic enough to contain Moore.

If we put Sylvia on her, then they bring her outside and we have no one to rebound.

If we put Thomas on her, then she posts up.
