WOW, impossible to say at this point because we don't know what defense we will be running or who our DC will be.

If Muschamp is back and allowed to run his defense then I don't know if we
will be top 5, too many new players I think?
Anyway we could be a top 10 I think.

Let me ask you a question.
If your Les Miles and your an offensive minded coach why wouldn't you keep
a DC that was under one of the best coaches in the country?
The same defense that won a NC and was #1 the year before and a top 5
defense for the last 3 or 4 years.

It seems to me that you would have to be dumb as nails to replace someone
like that unless they wanted to leave.

Many coaches want their own people right or wrong, they don't want to be second guessed by leftovers from the previous staff and they also want to sorround themselves with coaches that they are familliar with for the most part. I agree the D staff should be kept in tact as much as possible but it wouldn't suprise me if Miles cleaned house.

I don't think our defense will be as good. I'm a Miles supporter until he proves me otherwise, but I think even though we'll have the talent & the depth that the play calling won't be as good as it was under Saban.
