It is amazing to think that if LSU wins out this season, there will have been only 2 points keeping them from 4 straight SEC Championship games. 1 point loss to Arkansas in 2002 and 1 point loss to Auburn in 2004. Say what you want about this year's team, but that is a pretty impressive stretch.
Totally agree, can someone tell me the last time LSU has done this in a 4 or 5 year span? During Dinardo's last year I would've been satisfied with nothing more than 1 SEC Championship at the time since it had been years since we'd done that. First time in a long time we've known before the end of Oct. we had no shot at going to Atlanta. Easy to understand people not being all that happy around here. It's nice to have such expectations every year. A lot better than hoping for a Peach Bowl at the start of the season (or being happy about beating Notre Dame in Shreveport).
