Have you seen how he reacts to bad throws, dropped passes and broken plays? I think Miles knows he wouldn't fare well in front of the media, they'd have no mercy on him and he'd go into full blown meltdown on television. Hell he might end up knocking some dude out for asking the wrong question. Miles is trying to save him from all that. Pot meet kettle. Make him a miserable user and he'll never try and access TF again. lol
Criticism and heated discussion should be cool, but it is totally not cool to call LSU players out by name on this forum for personal attacks. There have to be some kind of boundaries here. If the ban hammer is about to drop, I say good riddance.
man i hate to be devil's advocate, but the original post was an interesting question. the person who posted it isn't interesting, but i did like the question. interesting thought, that could be it. See the thing that sucks is that Miles doesn't tell the media or the fans anything. I have never seen a guy say absolutely nothing, in so many words. If that makes sense. In other words, he talks alot, but says nothing of value. We will never know what is going on, however Jarrett Lee sure got thrown to the wolves his freshman year, and i wasn't even talking about on the field. If Jefferson is so immature, and can't even handle talking to the media or accepting that he has played terrible, and be held accountable, how in the world can he be trusted to be the leader of this offense? I want a guy who is willing to stand up and be a leader, and lead by example, and I think Lee has done that over the last 3 seasons.
Lee was cheered in TS when he got hurt and had to leave the field (should've never been done), was booed for weeks on end for the pick 6s (rightfully so), and left for dead on the sidelines... and then sticking around and moving this offense and again gaining the praise of the fan base tells me a ton about his determination, I think he's going to come along but it will entail some struggles here and there... but I think he's the leader of this offense and the players know it and shows when he's playing.
you know alot of the same people who want miles fired were the same ones booing a young qb thrown into the fire and did his best. And then there are a clowns like this original poster. JJ has struggled but people like this are scum.
