How do you guys feel about...?

ESPN trying to move the Arizona game to Thursday?

 

It sucks. Im trying to go to that game and that will mess everything up.

 

It will give a chance for LSU to open up eyes early and set the tone for the 2003 season in front of a national audience. I think its good exposure, especially for the younger guys.

 

are they really trying to do that? I would not like it because I was planning on making the trip, so if they did it would make it very difficult with school and everything. Where have you seen this?

 

Part of me want to say, to absoloutly refuse to agree to a change.

 

From the perspective of trying to make the game, it sucks. From the perspective of the exposure LSU would get on a national level early in the season it is a good thing.

Guess that makes it kind of a win-win if you eliminate the personal interest in going to the game....

But it's way too early to get worked up about it. It might not materialize in the end......

 

Think about this though: at least we know it would be at night. I'm more worried about the heat of Arizona during the day.

 

Its cool with me if it gets the game on the tube. I would rather watch it on Thursday night than listen to it on the radio on Saturday

 

I don't like getting only 4 days between games. Even if it is ULM. Not so much the physical aspect, as the fact we won't get to work on the Arizona gameplan as deeply as we should.

 

a couple problems with that are

1) 4 days between games

and

2) not as many people will be able to make the game.

id MUCH rather the game be on sat. so more Tiger fans will be there yelling their butts off, supporting the team...then i would the game being televised on thursday and having half the Tiger fans THERE.

i think having more of our fans there will actually help us get the W...and i certainly dont mind listening to one game on the radio if it means that we get a W.

is playing on thursday night really that good of exposure anyway? look who plays on thursday nights...toledo, marshall, air force, colorado state, tcu...and then of course..*ahem..cough cough* miss. state...id rather not be mentioned with any of those types....playing on thursday makes you look like an also ran.

ps. i can understand why msu would play thurs night games...they're no good and they need money...any money

so lets just play the game on Sat.....when they're s'pose to be played.
