I hope you don't mean Brady when you say "superior coaching." The only thing Brady is "superior" at is being a complete DUMBA$$. The best LSU will ever do under Brady is make the tournament and maybe win one or two games. Besides, Im sure he'll run off one or two guys before the year's out.

be kinda hard to improve with the team if you cant even practice with the team. He hasn't practiced with them since he got in troubule. He just might mess up the teams chemistry.

to say Tyrus has a better upside than Bass is NOT an overstatement at all. Actually anybody that pays attention would know that Tyrus is in the top 20 on a lot of pro teams Draft board already. Thats higher than Big Baby. Im not tellin you what I think, Im tellin you what I know. This kid is going to be somethin special.

To say he's higher on a lot of scouts boards than Big Baby is very shortsighted. Yes, he is athletic and can jump high but there's no way he is in either the top 20 or ahead of Big Baby. I like TT very much and think he has Hubie Brown-quality tremendous upside potential, but... He wasn't that highly recruited and has only played a handful of college games. Let him go through an SEC schedule producing like he has against our non-conference schedule before annoiting him a top 20 NBA pick.

Do you have a link to somewhere that has TT as a top 20 pick for those of us that haven't been paying attention?

I agree that the West and SEC as a whole is weak this year due to early entries to the NBA.

As for Bama being the team to beat...Nah uh! We are with a very sore/hurting PG, no 2 guard at all, but with lots of big men. If Winston had stayed we would be a major force to deal with but he didn't, and the plan for Ray George (TF from JUCO) didn't work out because he failed to qualify.

We are big and talented, but we are also slow and not very deep. Quicker teams (i.e. Memphis and Notre Dame) have exploited our weaknesses and really put us in a pickle (did I just say that?). As of right now, I will be suprised if we make the dance--we are just not very deep. I just hope we stomp Miss St's asses! :D

    Roll Tide!

I think Kentucky will be fine. Just got word today from the NCAA, Morris suspension was reduced to 14 games. Morris will be back for the SEC opener (Vandy game). UK always start out slow for some reason, remember 2 years ago…we were getting killed by Vandy and at half time, Tubby exploded, and a different team showed up on the court to win 23 start in the SEC. If it wasn’t Bogans going down with an ankle injury, we would have gone to the Final 4.

This weekend will be probably determine our season, If we beat UL, watch out, but we get beat, we may have a long year for our standards.

I do believe the dark horse in the SEC is the Hogs…I would say LSU, but too many freshman and questionable coaching. I do believe Brady does get the most out of average teams, but at times, will drive his key players in the ground (i.e., Mitchell, Bass, Lazier sp?). I would not give Brady so much credit in recruiting, I would give it to Butch Pierre…he is probably the one bringing in the horses on campus…can not imagine Brady making such an impact in a home visit. The Gators will be tough, but wonder if they are mentally tough enough to sustain a march through the SEC and into the NCAA.

I can't believe that the NCAA actually bought the "Wow, we just found this old fax stating that Morris wasn't trying to go pro, he was just testing the waters." Tubby just happened to find it after Morris was ruled ineligible for the season - more like had someone make up a fax. What a farce! :dis:
