Nope, I just got it wrong. Ali dove at him earlier in the play. For some reason, I thought CJ dove and Ali chased him.
In the event that it was Ali Highsmith running McFadden down, he would be the overal 1st round pick. A linebacker with good size that keeps up with a 4.33 RB, would be the ultimate defensive weapon. On Chad Jones, I remember that play and remembered thinking, OMG Jones is a beast for a safety. To have a safety with that kind of speed, wow. He was catching him and actually was having to drift over some to get behind him. I didn't remember Chad Jones speed being a big part of his qualities, but I must have been under a rock.
Chad Jones is an absolute freak of nature. The interception that he made vs UK was mind-boggling. And if you watch the replay of the last play vs UF (hail mary in the EZ), dude gets about 3' higher than everyone else to bat the ball down.
