Exactly what "next level" are you hoping to reach? We have one of the very best teams in college football today. It just isn't going to get any better, even with another hopeful National Championship sometime in the cards.

There has not been a better time in LSU football history. At least not since the 1958-62 era.

without checking, i'd think that in '03 Okla and UGA (both times were top 10), although none were on the road.

cparso, youre point is well-taken. however, i think its also fair to note that the expectations/talent level of the lsu should be considered. the lsu teams of the hallman years shouldnt be held to the same expectations as saban/miles lsu teams.

who do you get more mad at---

tim wakefield, when a-rod pulls an outside pitch for a homer

    OR

brad lidge, when pujols yanks a fastball that got too much of the plate?

we were big dogs in those previous two top 10 match-ups under the 'old coach'..

the same can't be said vs BAMA, AU, FLA and TENN under Miles... We were actually favored in 2/4 or 3/4...

LSU was a 4 pt favorite this past weekend. Was a favorite for most of the week against florida and a 3 pt dog at auburn.

As a former Red Sox season ticket holder (from 2003-2005), obviously, I get more angry at A-Rod pulling an outside Wakefield knuckler....Fortunately for Sox fans, A-Rod only it's those in mid-May and not in October. ;) :hihi:

Florida opened as the favorite, then it swung back & forth I think - not sure what the final line was, but you're right. My mistake.

It was a hanging slider.....I coulda hit it

I was behind the Crawford Box seats in straightaway left field and I cursed all the way out of the stadium without even waiting to see what happened in the bottom of the 9th inning.
