McElwain's press conference was called off too. I'm telling you they don't want to play this game. They just say they do.

According to many involved that was the conclusion LSU reached after the 1st teleconference. We tried our best to make it the easy choice in every discussion following. Florida was being smart about it from a football standpoint and we knew it but couldn't do anything about it. That is where the SEC should of stepped in before yesterday's deadline but failed.

I think the refusal when there is other options this weekend is the right move! That would mean we would play Ole Miss, Bama, @ Arkansas, @ Florida and then the next Thursday @ A&M.

    Hell ya we refused!!!

How about this: SEC pays South Alabama, Florida splits their gross from the game 50/50 with us and the SEC reschedules our game with aTm to the Saturday after Thanksgiving. That way everybody shares the pain.

All those crusty dicklickers had to do was change venues. Now everything has to revolve around Florida. Princesses

LSU refused because we already have a game that weekend.

Not only that why would LSU cancel a game at home and just throw that revenue away?
