How is this year's team different from the preason #7 team of 1998?

I was just posting for discussion purposes. I am totally optimistic and excited about the season, and if you would've taken the time to read my posts within this thread you would realize that.

But you didn't, so you must be one of those people who speak too soon and walk around with a foot in your mouth, or maybe you're just a lazy prick with no friends.

 

Well, if Bo Pellini and Les Miles put in a "drop LB" I'll be concerned....

Otherwise, There isn't much of a comparison between LSU now vs. then.
