If a team that can't even win their own division makes it to the BCS championship the BCS should be considered null and void. How do we know Alabama is #2? They lost to #1 on their own field and played a much weaker schedule than LSU or Oklahoma State. Who's to say they would only have one loss if they had to play better teams or an extra game?
I thought they claimed this year's national title as soon as they became bowl eligible. Is any other school as pathetic as Alabama in claiming false titles?
I love to see $aban on College Gameday like a gosh damn politician trying to state his case, especially after all these years of him being such a dickk to the media, now he needs their help. I hope to see LSU & Okie St. just b/c I would like to see LSU dominate the Big 12 champion, but if it is LSU bama, so be it. Nobody is stopping LSU from getting the crystal this year.
I hold solace in the fact that outside of the SEC no voters want to insure a SEC exclusive title game. They can now vote with a clear conscience. The Doomsday scenario happened.

I agree with this point, & I've been saying that for weeks. It's not really fair b/c bama is absolutely the #2 team in the country, but it is what it is. I'm glad LSU is #1 & we don't have to sweat in hopes of making it to the BCSNCG. :tigerhead :crystal:
