So Mississippi State was up 5-3 on Virginia, bottom 7 and the rains came and did not let up.

So they play the remainder of that game tomorrow at 3 pm central. And if they win, it's over and they are in. Otherwise, they play game 3 probably about a half hour after the finish of game 2.

The deal is that LSU has zero players with Omaha experience. The most experienced are UCLA (CWS in 3 of last 4 years), South Carolina (3 straight CWS, 4 if they go this year), UNC and UVA (if they make it they'll have been to 2 of the last 3 CWS).

The only other teams with Omaha experience in the Supers got knocked out: Oklahoma, Vandy, Florida State

Have the Tigers ever played in the new stadium?

No. I think the 1st year was 2011.

Moo U. just eliminated Virginia. 6 teams now advanced (2 from the SEC), and LSU is still the only national seed in.

What a crazy top of the 9th. Two poor fielding plays by MSU with 2 outs and almost allowed VA to score the go ahead run and prolong the game.
