Possibly 5-1, with the only loss I see coming is Florida. I really believe that the SEC will show once again why it is the best conference in America. LSU and Miami should be a BCS game, this is going to be a heck of a game.

Carolina over Missouri...Spurrier's first bowl game at USC and it's against a weak Missouri team, the Cocks will pound Mizzou

Miami over LSU...Tigers are tired and banged up and there's a lot of second guessing going on in BR after being blown out in SEC title game and without Russell it will tough to beat a rested and very talented Miami team (pains me to write this but I'm a realist)

Texas Tech over Bama...Tech's high powered offense versus Bama's solid defense, should be a great matchup. But Bama can't score and Tech can

Florida over Iowa...UF rides momentum of the beat-down on the Noles to a win over an very underachieving Iowa squad

Auburn over Wisconsin...Auburn's offense with Kenny Irons and Cox and Co. will roll over a very, very weak Badger defense

Georgia over W. Virginia....UGA wins a close one with its defense

So, I think the SEC goes 4-2

When I think of the SEC in bowl games of late...

You can count on wins from Georgia and Auburn almost every year. The biggest bowl mismatch of the season may be Auburn and Wisconsin. Right now Auburn MAY be the best non-BCS team... and the Wissies, just like last year, have folded down the stretch... Auburn could win big... don't worry about the spread, take it.

Carolina over Missouri... when is the last time Missouri beat anybody in a game of any significance?

Iowa over Florida... a homer call perhaps, but Leak has never won a bowl, lost 13 games in three years, and Florida is 1-5 in bowl games since Jan. 1, 2000.... plus the fact that Iowa played like Iowa in the last few games.

Miami over LSU... should be a good game, but I'll take Coker's staff over Miles' staff in preparation and inspiration.

Texas Tech over Bama... weather can be a factor in the Cotton and this pick calls for clear skies.

So I'm the only one that thinks that WV has a really, really good chance of beating the pups? I really don't think they'll be ready for the spread option. And no, the UF game this year doesn't count because they weren't running it (at least not properly). Hate to root against the SEC, but I don't want the pups walking around thinking they're that good, because they're not. I'd love to see 'em get beat by the red-headed step child of BCS teams.

Richt lost to Maryland in a bowl game his 1st year, since then he's played nine teams from other BCS automatic qualifying conferences and he has won them all. I don't think West Virginia is the team to stop his streak.
