If Saban were coach and we played like we did this year, I would wonder what the hell was going on but I also don't think if he was coach we would not have played the way we did either. Better adjustments would have been made and I wouldn't be hearing this dumb arguement about the players not executing. Leadership starts at the top. When the players are not doing what they are told, you do not let them keep doing it. You put a stop to it. Period.JMO and feel free to rip me for it because I know you will.
I am a LSU fan not a N. Saban fan. I do not watch much pro ball. I prefer college ball. Is that ok with you?
Sure it is. But if you had been watching a few Dolphins games, you would see a lack of discipline. I just thought I would point that out... Is that ok with you? :yelwink2:
Hey, guess what everyone. Saban isn't our coach anymore. He left us in the cold. Forget about him. We are starting to act like 'Bama fans with the whole Bear Bryant situation. Les Miles took us to 10-2, best first year coach ever at LSU. Saban didn't take us to a SEC championship game last year with nearly the same talent. i know I'll probably get some negative rep points for this but let's look foward a bit. Miles is our coach now and we should supports him, ecspecially if he's winning, like he did this season. Once he starts losing, we can start bitching. I just don't understand where all the complaining is coming from now.
I know Saban isn't our coach. I didn't start the thread but gee, I wonder who did. I do not care for Miles coaching style. We seem to have given him a hall pass and that's just fine for you guys. I won't accept it. I do not care for the lack luster performace that I have seen this year. If the coach can not get hold of the team then I highly suggest some players sit on the bench. But no, we are going to say it is the players not executing and not doing what they are supposed to do over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Who is ultimatley responsible? The coach is, get a grip on the team. I get sick of hearing you guys talk about the lack of love that LSU has gotten this year. We have squeaked out a few key wins to put us where we were and struggled with some awful football teams. I am glad we won the games and still support the school but I feel like Miles is in way over his head. Get out of Baton Rouge and a good part of the nation feels the same way. I voice my opinion and you say I have been just waiting for the other L's to come. Whatever. It is a miracle we haven't seen more than we have.
Maybe it's just me but can you just imagine if he really got hold of the team and coached it like it should have been.
We could have done better, but i think that will come in time. Has there been a coach that has won a NC in his first year? < Actual question.
