I wouldn't suggest holding your breath too long........:dis: I'd put slingblade Miles maybe a notch or two above Ed Ogeron..:bncry:
If Saban was coach this year and finished 10-2 and won the SEC West I would be thrilled just as I am with Miles. I am concerned our offense never improved and looked very sloppy at times. Miles played this season exactly like Nick did last year. D dominates and the O dosen't give the game away. The future is what we are unsure of. Miles seems to be a great recruiter so we should stay very competitive in the future. Miles and team won a lot of close ones but that's what it takes to win in the SEC. Beating Auburn, Florida, and Bama every season won't be easy, not to mention the other good teams in the conference. We have as good of talent as anyone in the conference, now Miles has to put them in a position to win.
If Saban was the coach, none of the mistakes on the field would be the coaches fault. It would be all the players. Crawfish would be reporting how everyone is heads over heels for Saban's style and FightinT would be talking about how unbelievable of a coach he is. Saban was a better coach than Miles (no doubt) but Miles ends the year 10-2 which is a better record then Saban had in all but 1 year. Miles mistakes have been glorified by those that are still pissed Saban left
