What are the chances thing hugs the coast then makes a hard turn east then south, then back west again into the gulf?
I've seen some models that have it doing the boomerang thing but they are saying once it gets back to where it is now there wont be much left of it. That's crazy.
All the people waiting to be "allowed" back is why many (including me) are reluctant to leave. With Hurricane Rita, I think it was, my in-laws came here. 3 days after it passed through Lake Charles I kept telling them they COULD get back to Sulphur. I took it upon myself to go, alone, just to show them. I called and told them I was standing in their front yard hauling branches to the road but the house was not damaged. They were lucky cause there were some houses within a mile that had trees that had fallen across living rooms, etc.
