I'm 130 miles north of Mobile right in the middle of the proposed track. Rode out Ivan will ride out Dennis.

We drove to the Auburn game the Friday after Ivan. The destruction stopped just short of Montgomery. I really question the sanity of anyone sticking out a CAT 3 or higher (or anyone wearing a box of soap powder and toilet paper on their head). Good luck and God's blessing to those staying.

I'm in Morgan City. We'll probably stay, but if it looks like it comes this way, we have a room in Mt. Pleasant, TX--wherever that is.

JayB, Mt. Pleasant is one of the towns in TX we drive through, and sometimes stay in if we can't get away until after work, on our way to Nola from OKC. There really isn't anything there. It's a pretty non-descript little town! It's about an hour NW of Marshall TX.
