    in order
    1. Tedford- turned around cal while playing in a major conference, not sure about recruiting ability outside of recruiting juco
    2. Davis- great recruiter, not sold on gameday recruiting.
    3. Petrino- turned UL into power, says he isn't leaving
4a. Jimbo- think he would great head coach, proven recruiter, never been HC
4b. Muschamp- think he will eventually be a better HC then Jimbo, enthuisastic, and a proven recruiter, has less expiernce then even Jimbo.

It won't happen, but you know who's a pretty damn good coach, can recruit, and likely wouldn't leave anytime soon?

    Mike Price.

Bama fans may hate him now, but the man's gotta be as humbled as one can be by now. Besides, he's taken UTEP to a bowl and a 8 win season.

    UTEP!!!

Price will get another big time gig, no question.

I'd prefer a proven college head coach over any current LSU assistant coach...

If we go fishing, contact Spurrier - I'm dead serious and not kidding one bit. If anything, it will open a line of communication with him for the future and, as we all know, Spurrier does as Spurrier pleases...

Norm Chow - if you don't think we should speak with him, take a step back and reconsider...

Most of the coaches listed here are offense-minded. I think the thing that has set us apart in the last couple of years in our defense. Has Muschamp learned enough under Saban that he can keep the defense playing at the same level? Although he won't have the intangibles that Saban brings, I think he can. If that's the case, I say promote from within. Give Jimbo a chance and retain the rest of the staff so that the rhythm and continuity that Saban has established is not interrupted. Contrary to what the uniformed believe, Fisher is an innovative O.C. Most of us know why the offense was as conservative as it was this year and it has nothing to do with his style or personality. He does like to open it up when the personnel allows. Hopefully his success as an OC will translate into a successful head coaching.

Jimbo Fisher is not a "Mike Archer." Fisher is much older, wiser, and experience. It's not like he's some guppie in a shark tank. My guess, under a Fisher regime, Dooley would be OC and Muschamp would be DC. Bobby Williams probably goes with Saban to Miami. Most of our other coaches would stay (just cause I think they are motivated to be college rather than pro coaches).

I believe ya'll are underestimating Fisher's talents. He has what it takes to lead us to another MC.

Here's hoping we don't make a change for awhile.
