From the Advocate this afternoon; “Kiffin had a meeting Friday with Ole Miss athletic director Keith Carter and university chancellor Glenn Boyce as Ole Miss sought clarity about his decision. Afterward, Carter said an announcement on Kiffin’s future is expected to come the day after No. 6 Ole Miss plays rival Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl on Nov. 28. If he’s not leaving, why would you need to wait a week to make an announcement?
I’m starting to feel like our pursuit of Kiffen is not going to end well for LSU. I think Lane is going to leave us standing at the alter. And since we are so focused on him, our 2nd & 3rd choices may be off the table before we realize it.
