After the selection show last Sunday on ESPN Dick Vitale berrated the NCAA for picking UAB to play in the tourney. He said that in no way did they deserve to be selected. I told my wife after watching that show that LSU was in trouble. Talk about motivation for a team. I bet that the UAB coach played that segment to his players all week. UAB played like they had something to prove and we played like we were happy to be their. P.S.- that was one UGLY basketball court. LSU!
I have only myself to blame for this. . . As i obviously called down the wraith of the karma gods to leave a St. Patrick's Day block party at an irish pub (and tons o' women) to go in search of a sports bar with the LSU game on. But in the spirit of "Leon", it can't possibly be me, so i also blame Brady. . .
It's my fault...if I'd stopped watching sooner last night the comeback would have started sooner and we would have won...blame it all on me.
Since it's obvious that LSU was already preparing for Arizona, I wonder if Brady was nice enough to share his Arizona gameplan with Anderson after the game?
It's Brady's fault. Didn't he miss Jim Rome's interview or whatever??? That was bad karma all the way. That's almost as bad as the SI cover jinx.
Rest assured that Rome will talk about that ad nauseum today, and bore his listeners to tears with stories of how great his show is, and how it's bigger than life itself, and never jerk with the karma and all that crap.
