There is no doubt the refs had a big impact on this game. When every questionable call goes one team's way you have to wonder. It is magnified when it is such a low scoring game. They could have called offensive holding on Auburn every play if they use the same guidelines they used on the play they called Dyakowski for it and it just happenned to be on a long gainer. I would be interested to find out if this was the same crew that called the last Auburn LSU game. I give Auburn alot of credit because they played hard but if you use the reasoning they used last year the better team did not win this game . But in our won loss column it says 2 wins 1 loss. Not a damn thing we can do about it now. I am just very , very dissapointed in our offense all the way around. This might be a better defense than we had in the Natl. Champ. year. I just feel my insides all bunched up and i want to just scream out of frustration. I know we have a better team than Auburn this year we just didnt show it on the field when it counted.
exactly. you guys are right on. this game was so damn close and the little things add up huge. particulalry when a couple of the little things are massive pass interference calls completely blown. and not just blown normally, but blown so extremely that correct calls are reversed.
He may have had a couple big runs, but 28 carries for 70 yards is not Heisman winning material or next level stuff. In fact that is rather pedestrian numbers. This loss had nothing to do with the defense. The offense needs a little more imagination and boy did Muschamp school Fisher. Offense has no rythem or flow to the playcalling. There has to be a point where you abandon the running game and allow you're incredibly talented QB try to win the game. JR still makes some poor decisions, ala not throwing the ball away with 30 seconds and taking a sack, but at least he gives you a chance to win, which is more than can be said about the RBs.
